Weather Forecast Affecting Some Scheduled Events, Services

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 12, 2018) — As sleet and snow are forecast for Central Kentucky this evening, some events and services are being canceled or rescheduled.  Below is what UK Public Relations and Marketing is aware of so far.  We will add to the list as we learn of more.  Please check the website of any sponsoring organization before attending events tonight or tomorrow. Also, UK Transportation Services offers motorist assistance including a free on-campus battery jump-start service for all valid UK parking permit holders and campus patients and visitors. Kentucky Wildcab

Due to the forecasted severe winter weather, Kentucky Wildcab will not be in service tonight.

Late Night Film Series

Late Night Film Series screenings [The Nice Guys & Iron Man] for tonight in Memorial Hall, and there are no scheduled films tomorrow.  There already were no scheduled events in the Cats Den Underground this weekend.

Opening Reception for Edward Melcarth “Points of View” exhibition

Originally scheduled tonight, rescheduled to 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18

Singletary Center

Due to impending weather for Friday, Jan. 12, the Distinguished Young Women of Kentucky Program is rescheduling all events this weekend.

1st Prelim will now be on Saturday, Jan. 13, at noon.

2nd Prelim is Saturday at 8 p.m.. 

Finals Sunday, Jan. 14, at noon

All previously-issued tickets are still valid for use; tickets do not have to be exchanged for the new dates and times.
