Active Learning LectureTools Development Grant Proposals Due July 1

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 12, 2013) ― University of Kentucky full-time and part-time faculty/instructors are encouraged to apply for a new grant opportunity, “Active Learning LectureTools Development Grants,” which are funded by the Academic Planning, Analytics and Technologies (APAT) Internal Grant Award Fund.

These one year awards were developed to explore the use of an active learning platform and to develop a course integrating LectureTools, an interactive, web-based student response, note-taking and inquiry tool that improves student attentiveness and engagement in lecture. Ten awards will be given in the amount of $1,500 each. Application deadlines are July 1, 2013 and October 2, 2013.
