LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 19, 2013) — The University of Kentucky Black Student Union will host its annual Thanksgiving Dinner at the Christian Student Fellowship Sanctuary from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20.  The dinner is served “pot luck style” and will feature an array of Thanksgiving favorites. The event is free but those attending are asked to bring canned good donations, which will be contributed to the drive being held for Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week (read more here: http://uknow.uky.edu/content/students-bring-national-hunger-and-homelessness-awareness-week-uk).

“It is a way for us to give back to the students here at UK. Also it gets people in the giving mood,” said BSU Public Relations Chair Ebone Byse.

Other UK organizations are invited to bring a dish and get involved by contacting Morgan Bryant at morganpaige619@yahoo.com.
