LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 5, 2011) − The terrace at the University of Kentucky's Hilary J. Boone Center will remain open for lunch to all UK faculty and staff during the month of July, with no membership required. The promotion, which began in June, has proven popular with UK faculty and staff and is being extended to allow everyone the opportunity to enjoy the Boone Center's relaxing outdoor space and quick service at lunchtime.

"It's a great place to meet for lunch because it's centrally located on campus and has an outstanding, fast-casual cuisine prepared by our culinary team led by Chef Seth Russell," said Boone Center General Manager Gerald Marvel. "We're making it available to all faculty and staff in July to offer them the opportunity to rediscover the Boone Center.”

A casual, quick-service menu is offered for terrace visitors, including spring rolls, tempura fried pickles, the Boone Center Burger, chicken salad with fruit, grilled vegetable panini and quiche Lorraine. Guests can also order from the more extensive regular menu that includes crispy organic chicken, shrimp and grits, tamarind glazed mahi-mahi and more.

The Hilary J. Boone Center at the University of Kentucky is one of Lexington's premier meeting and dining facilities for UK alumni, faculty and staff.
