Career Center Offers 'Crash Course' in Job Hunting

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 27, 2012) — Students at the University of Kentucky can take a "crash course" in job hunting, offered by the James W. Stuckert Career Center. 

The workshop will take place from 3:30-5:30 p.m. this Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the Stuckert Career Center, located at 408 Rose St. Topics covered will include interviewing, dressing for success, job search strategies, resume development and professional correspondence.

"The average job hunt takes anywhere from three to six months," said Theresa Mickelwait, senior assistant director at the Stuckert Career Center. "This workshop is perfect for seniors who are graduating in December or May."
