College of Education Co-Sponsors Teach Abroad Info Session

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 8, 2012) — Have you considered traveling abroad for part of your studies? Have you considered getting teaching experience through travel abroad? If so, the University of Kentucky College of Education and the UK Office of International Affairs have just the event for you.

The College of Education Office of International Engagement and UK Education Abroad will sponsor an information session on teaching abroad 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, in Room 109 of Dickey Hall.

The session will provide information about teach abroad internships, student teaching abroad, the Consortium for Overseas Student Teaching and other programs led by College of Education faculty. Also, former students will share their experiences with student teaching abroad.

This event is open to any and all students. Free pizza and other refreshments will be available.
