LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 10, 2015) — The University of Kentucky Opera Theatre in conjunction with Alltech proudly present the 10th annual "Celebration of Song." Join the Bluegrass community as it gets in the spirit of the season at these old-fashioned holiday sing-along concerts Dec. 13, at The Square. The concerts are free and open to the public.

Conducted by Director of UK Opera Theatre Everett McCorvey, "Celebration of Song" features performances of beloved carols by award-winning vocalists from UK Opera Theatre. Lending their talents to the celebration this year will be several guest artists, including Miss Kentucky Clark Janell Davis, a UK opera theatre and political science sophomore; Zeb Harrison and Sounds of Praise; Endowed Chair, Professor of Voice Cynthia Lawrence; UK artist-in-residence Gregory Turay; UK Blue Steel; and the Lexington Singers' Children's Choir. WKYT Anchor Barbara Bailey will be on hand to host the festive concerts.

Due to popular demand there will be two performances of "Celebration of Song" again this year at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, at The Square, located at the corner of West Main Street in downtown Lexington.
