Construction Project Impacts Parking

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 17, 2011) - Fewer parking spaces will be available in the employee parking lot adjacent to the Craft Center during construction of the new Wildcat Coal Lodge. This week the construction company fenced in or barricaded a portion of the lot as part of the construction site. 

Approximately 48 of the 157 spaces in the Craft Center E Lot will be available for employee parking during the construction project, which is expected to be completed in March 2012.  Sixteen spaces are expected to be regained following completion of the project.

Anyone normally parking in this area may need to use other available parking on campus. A map of available employee parking can be found on the Parking and Transportation website at www.uky.edu/Parking/parking-maps.html.
