Published: Nov 1, 2013

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 1, 2013) — UK Homecoming 2013, Under the Big Blue Top, may be ending, but that does not mean that the fun is over quite yet! This weekend promises to bring smiles to faces of Wildcats young and old and create lasting memories.

Many colleges and organizations are hosting reunion events, and there are tons of events for the entire family to enjoy.

Tonight features the annual Homecoming Parade and  National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)Step Show, two highlights of Homecoming Week. At 6:30 p.m., student organizations’ floats will wind through campus along with the Homecoming royalty candidates, the UK cheerleaders and community participants. At 7:30 p.m., members of UK NPHC will take to the stage to show off their best moves in the annual Homecoming Step Show.

Saturday, it is football time in the Bluegrass as UK hits the gridiron against the Alabama State Hornets. At halftime, the Homecoming king and queen will be named and the winners of the Wildcat Cup announced.
