Election for Campus Leaders Ends Wednesday
Lexington, Ky. (June 4, 2013) — Time is running out for University of Kentucky employees to vote in the runoff election for the staff representative to the Board of Trustees and the new staff and faculty members of the Women’s Forum.
Mike Adams of the Department of Biology, Sheila Brothers of the Office of Senate Council and Jann Burks of 4-H Central Operations are the candidates still in contention to represent their co-workers on the board in this runoff election. The Women’s Forum board manages the annual Sarah Bennett Holmes Award and Luncheon and the fall Women’s Conference and grants Educational Assistance Awards scholarships to worthy student-employees.
Candidates for the 2013-2015 Women’s Forum Board are Erika Chambers (Work-Life), Jennafer Greene (Women's Health Obstetrics & Gynecology), Therese Smith (Dean of Students Office), Connie LeRoy (Medical Center / Physical Plant Division), Carol Dell (Department of Radiology), Lindsey Jasinski (Psychiatry), Sara Talbott (College of Agriculture), Melanie Hardin-Pierce (College of Nursing), Abbye Tackett (UK Libraries), Janet Greene (Neuroscience Institute), Christy Lewis (College of Dentistry) and Lisa Lockman (Residence Life).
