The Future of Engineering is Here at UK

Published: Feb 23, 2010

Congratulations to UK employee - and Kentucky native - Courtney Fisk for being named one of the 13 "New Faces of Engineering" by the National Engineers Week Foundation. Fisk, a native of Taylor Mill, Kentucky, is an engineer for our Center for Applied Energy Research, working for our Biofuels and Environmental Catalysis Group.

Fisk was featured in an ad in USA Today that highlighted her and her 12 other honorees. A brief profile of Fisk is online here.

In addition to working at the University of Kentucky Center for Applied Energy Research, Fisk also is a graduate from UK's Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering program, a joint program of the colleges of Agriculture and Engineering. She earned her bachelor's degree in 2005 and her master's degree in 2007, both at UK. She is currently working on her MBA at the UK Gatton College for Business and Economics.
