Gill Golf Classic Raises Funds for Research and Education

LEXINGTON, Ky. (September 19, 2012) -- The University of Kentucky Gill Heart Institute held their annual golf classic on August 20 at Champion Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Ky.

The ninth annual golf classic raised $93,000. The proceeds benefitted the Fund for the Advancement of Education and Research at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

One participant was having a very lucky day at the golf classic. Jack Wireman, KMSF employee from Versailles scored a hole-in-one and with it won $10,000.
