LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 3, 2014) — Eleven UK student-athletes have new outlooks on life following service trips to Ethiopia.
Though the students traveled to Africa last summer, the lessons they learned there are still very fresh.
Discover why the trip had such an impact on their lives outside of sports in this UKNow Halftime report, which aired during the UK Hoops vs. Duke game on Dec. 22.
The UK Athletics service trips to Ethiopia began in 2011. To read blog posts about students participating in this year's trips as well as past trips, visit http://www.ukathletics.com/blog/2013/12/video-wildcats-reflect-on-ethiopia-service-trip.html
