Krochet Kids empowers individuals in African communities to rise above poverty by teaching them to crochet headwear, clothing, and accessories that are sold globally. This sustainable development program with the motto, “Buy a hat. Change a life,” provides individuals with education, mentorship, and jobs to meet their family’s needs. The three founders are eager to share with UK students about empowerment, connectedness, and learning through the lens of Krochet Kids.
