Late Night Film Series, MLK Center to Host Premiere of 'Restored Me'

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 12, 2016)  Tomorrow night, the University of Kentucky Martin Luther King Center and the Late Night Film Series will co-host a premiere of "Restored Me." Following the screening, a panel featuring the movie’s director, supervisor and executive producers will answer questions from the audience.

“The event will be a highlight of the Late Night schedule this semester as it arrives weeks before the film's wide release and features a diverse cast and creators,” said Zachary Lamb, Late Night Film Series lead coordinator. “We are also incredibly excited about the following panel with the artists.”

The film’s soundtrack will be played from 6 to 7 p.m. at Memorial Hall with the screening and panel discussion to follow. The panel will be moderated by Pastor Dana Lockhart of St. Augustine’s Chapel. Members of the panel include writer, director and co-producer Rhyan Lamarr, music supervisor Amir Windom and executive producer Allan Chua.

"We've worked on a lot of premieres and sneak peeks in the past, but this one is posed to be very special. This is more than a movie — it feels more like a movement," Lamb said.
