'Learn to Play Bridge' at the Boone Center

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 8, 2016) — Cardlovers, and we don't mean those red birds up the interstate, here's a University of Kentucky event for you. The Hilary J. Boone Center will host "Learn to Play Bridge" for those wanting to learn a new card game from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at the center. This event is open to the public, for all ages and for any level of experience — from none to expert.

American Contract Bridge League 2012 Life Master, Darryl Bennett , will provide the bridge training.  Cost for the event is $16 and will include a three-course lunch prepared by award winning Boone Center chef Seth Russell.

"Bridge, at any  level of play, is fun and challenging as well as enriches one’s life with mental stimulation and camaraderie," Bennett said.
