Leave Your Mark On DanceBlue 2017

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 4, 2016) — This past weekend, the University of Kentucky community came together to raise more than $1.6 million for the Golden Matrix Fund, which benefits the Kentucky Children’s Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic. But, the work of DanceBlue is a year round effort. You can now apply for leadership positions for DanceBlue 2017.

DanceBlue 2017 chair and coordinator positions are available now until March 9. Committee applications open on March 28 and close April 8.

“DanceBlue is special because of its cause," said Allee Williams, DanceBlue public relations chair. "The kids reach into the hearts of UK students and motivate them to become the best versions of themselves to help in every possible way. DanceBlue leadership will challenge you in the most immeasurable ways, and at the end of your time, as you look out over the marathon, all you will be able to think is 'I cannot wait to do more.' The kids need your help; so I challenge you to step up and make a difference. Get ready for the best year of your life serving the best kids in the world. You will never be the same again.”

Students are invited to come find out more at a Committee Information Session on March 31, in 106 White Hall Classroom Building. Sessions will be held at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.  Apply for these positions at www.danceblue.org or search for DanceBlue on Orgsync.
