Local UK Alumni Club Co-hosts Lexington's Par-3 Golf Championship
LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 13, 2016) — The Fayette County University of Kentucky Alumni Club and the city of Lexington will host the City Par-3 Championship Monday, Aug. 1, at Kearney Hill Golf Links, 3403 Kearney Road, Lexington.
The tournament features 18 holes of stroke-play competition, and men’s and women’s champions will be chosen in six divisions: junior (ages 14 and under), junior II (15-18), open (19-49), senior (50-59), super senior (60 and older) and professional (PGA members).
The event is not limited to Fayette County residents or UK Alumni Club members.
The cost to enter is $60 for adults and $35 for juniors. All net proceeds benefit the Fayette County UK Alumni Club Scholarship Fund. All participants must register by Monday, July 25, at www.ukalumni.net/fayettegolf2016.
Leaderboard and hole-in-one sponsorships are available for individuals or businesses.
