Sigma Chi and Alpha Delta Pi About Event
The Main Event, formerly known as Fight Night, is a sanctioned and insured amateur boxing tournament between fraternity men at UK. Over the course of two nights, thousands of people, most of them students, pack in to watch 30-40 men compete for the championship belt. We also have sororities on UK's campus compete for the Main Event Sorority of the year which includes competitions such as dances in between bouts, attendance etc. Of course this is our philanthropy and all proceeds benefit Huntsman Cancer Research Institute and Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass.
