LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 22, 2013) — What is better than getting an “A” on your midterm exams? A free five-minute massage before you take them. Massage on the Go returns today, Tuesday, Oct. 22, from 5-8 p.m. in Commons. This event is presented by the Student Activities Board Campus Life Committee and the Lexington Healing Arts Academy.

Massage on the Go provides students stress-relief and relaxation during one of the busiest weeks of the semester from massage therapy students of the Lexington Healing Arts Academy. Students will also be able to receive free massages Nov. 6 from 5-8 p.m. in Blazer Café and Dec. 11 from 6-9 p.m. in The Hub at William T. Young Library.

“This event has been one of our most popular series among students because it really is relaxing during such intense times,” said Connor Giesselman, SAB director of campus life. “Massage on the Go has been around for many years and has become not only an SAB tradition, but a UK tradition for many students.”

SAB brings more than 100 entertaining, educational and enriching programs that are reflective of contemporary issues and trends to the University of Kentucky annually. These programs are designed to enhance the college experience for students, faculty, staff, and the greater Lexington community.
