Media Advisory: UK BOT Calls Forums for Campus
WHAT: If the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees announces a preferred candidate for president of the University of Kentucky on Sunday, May 1, that person will attend forums and an alumni event on campus that are open to media.
WHEN/WHERE: Monday, May 2, 2011
- 10 a.m., Faculty Forum sponsored by the University Senate Council, Worsham Theater, Student Center Annex
- 11:30 a.m., Staff Forum sponsored by the Staff Senate, Worsham Theater, Student Center Annex
- 2 p.m., Student Forum, sponsored by Student Government, Worsham Theater, Student Center Annex
- 4 p.m., Alumni Reception, sponsored by the UK Alumni Association, King Alumni House
MORE: Each forum will last about an hour. The candidate will briefly speak, and the bulk of the time will be spent answering questions. In addition, all of the forums will be streamed live on UK's news website UKNow at www.uky.edu/uknow.
Please Note: The candidate has a rigid schedule Monday and will not be available for media interviews at or between events.
