Neal Brown Featured Speaker at Fayette County UK Alumni Club Summer Social

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 13, 2014) — The Fayette County UK Alumni Club Summer Social is almost here. The social, which will be held at the Club at UK’s Spindletop Hall Tuesday, June 17, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., gives attendees the opportunity to mingle with other Fayette County UK Alumni Club members and guests.

This year’s guest speaker is UK offensive coordinator and quarterback coach Neal Brown. Brown, a native of Kentucky, played at UK from 1998-2000, was a two-year letterman and member of the Outback Bowl and Music City Bowl teams. Since 2012, he has been at the university under the direction of Coach Mark Stoops, helping assist the very program he was a part of more than a decade ago. Brown will preview the upcoming season, discuss the highly anticipated Wildcat offense and share the impact renovations to Commonwealth Stadium will have on the program.

The 2014-15 Fayette County UK Alumni Club officers and directors will also be presented as part of the event. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available. The cost to attend the social is $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers. Proceeds will benefit the Fayette County UK Alumni Club scholarship endowment.
