New Associate Dean of Research at UK College of Nursing Appointed

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July  17, 2012) − Thomas H. Kelly, the Robert Straus Endowed Professor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, was recently appointed the new associate dean of research at the UK College of Nursing. Kelly replaces Lynne Hall who recently retired.
 

Kelly has been with the UK College of Medicine since 1992, serving as associate professor and professor until he was appointed as Robert Straus Endowed Professor in 2003. He also has had joint appointments as a professor in the Department of Psychology since 1998 and professor in the Department of Psychiatry since 2003. Additionally, he has served as associate for both the UK Multidisciplinary Graduate Program in Nutritional Sciences since 1996 and in the UK Multidisciplinary Research Center on Drug and Alcohol Abuse since 1994.

"I am very much looking forward to working with the faculty and staff to sustain the College of Nursing's tradition of research excellence."
