Nominations Sought for Women's Forum Board

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 27, 2011) — Self-nominations for the University of Kentucky Women’s Forum board are being accepted now through April 29. Those elected to serve on the board will fulfill a two year term, 2011-2013. Women’s Forum Board membership is open to all full time regular staff and faculty, men and women.

"Becoming a Women's Forum board member has several benefits," said chair-elect Heidi Morrow. "Board members have the opportunity to enhance leadership and teamwork skills through professional development, to collaborate with outstanding women and men dedicated to making UK a better place to work, to network with a diverse group of individuals, and to celebrate the uniqueness of all women at UK."

Those who are not interested in becoming elected board members can still join theWomen’s Forum as a general member. The general membership registration can be found at http://www.uky.edu/OtherOrgs/UKWoman/join.php
