The spring semester OLLI Open House will be held Thursday, Jan. 21, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Tates Creek Christian Church gymnasium at 3150 Tates Creek Road in Lexington. During the open house, attendees can review the spring semester course catologue, meet with facilitators and register for courses. Information about interest groups, Donovan Forums and day trips will also be available. Course categories offered include computers and technology, culture, health and wellness, history and government, languages, performing arts, science and environment and more.

Event parking will be located in the parking lot on Albany Road with signs provided to direct guests to the back entrance of the church. In a case of inclement weather resulting in the closing of Fayette County Public Schools, the event will be rescheduled for Monday, Jan. 25.

Annual OLLI membership fees are $25, although some classes will vary in fee. On-site registration is encouraged to secure a spot in a desired course.

For more information about the open house and where to receive registration materials, contact the OLLI office at (859) 275-2625. Based at the University of Kentucky College of Public Health, OLLI provides educational opportunities for older adults through academic tuition waivers.
