Ormsbee Speaker for Research Translation Seminar Series

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 14, 2013) ― Lindell Ormsbee, director of the Kentucky Water Resources Research Institute at the University of Kentucky, is the guest speaker for the Research Translation Seminar Series at noon Tuesday, June 18, at the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection, Division of Waste Management at 300 Fair Oaks Drive, Conference Room 301D, Frankfort, Ky.

The seminar series is sponsored by the University of Kentucky Superfund Research Program in partnership with the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection, Division of Waste Management.

Ormsbee, who will speak on "Uses and Misuses of Mathematical Modeling in Water and Environmental Management," is also director of the Kentucky Center of Excellence for Watershed Management  and associate director of the UK Superfund Research Center.  He also holds the Raymond Blythe Professorship of Civil Engineering in UK's College of Engineering.
