Panel Discussion, Q&A on Charter Schools, School Choice Open to Public

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 14, 2015) — The University of Kentucky College of Education's Department of Educational Policy Studies and Evaluation Graduate Student Council and the Students for Education Reform are pleased to invite members of the UK community and the public to attend a panel discussion and public Q&A on charter schools and school choice.

The event will be held from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, in the Taylor Education Building Auditorium (Room 158).

Panelists include:

  • Wayne Lewis, of the UK Department of Educational Leadership Studies and president of Kentucky Charter Schools Association;
  • Carmen Coleman, of the Department of Educational Leadership Studies and former Danville Independent Schools superintendent;
  • Joe Ferrare, of the Department of Education Policy Studies and Evaluation; and
  • Brigitte Blom Ramsey, of the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence.
