Dr. Michalis Sarris will speak on "The Eurozone in Crisis: Causes and Consequences" Sarris served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Laiki Bank Group from January to August 2012; worked at the World Bank for over 25 years. Retired from World Bank as a Department Director in 2004. In 2005 was appointed as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Cyprus. During his tenure, Cyprus successfully introduced Euro as its national currency.
