Pharmacy Students Organize Family Fun Day and Health Fair

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 13, 2012) − Students from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy are planning a fun-filled day of activities and games while at the same time providing useful health information at the Family Fun Day and Health Fair to be held from 1 - 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, at Jacobson Park, Structure 2.
 

Booths will be set-up to provide information on diabetes, immunization, asthma, heart/blood pressure and heartburn for both adults and children.  Everyone will be given a 'passport' that will be stamped at each booth. People who get their entire passport filled are entered into a raffle to win a prize of summer toys and games.
 

In addition to games for children, an Easter egg and scavenger hunt is planned for children at 2 p.m.  The Easter eggs will have kid-friendly facts about each of the five medical conditions as well as candy.
