'Presidential Privilege' to Benefit DanceBlue

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 11, 2012) — The University of Kentucky Interfraternity Council is hosting “Presidential Privilege,” a charity basketball game to support DanceBlue 2013, UK’s dance marathon, at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, at the Seaton Center on UK’s campus.

On Oct.ober 17, two teams of fraternity presidents will compete in a preliminary game, the winner of which will play the IFC Executive Committee. The event, sponsored by Townhomes at Newtown Crossing, will include celebrity coaches and referees.

Greek organizations at the University of Kentucky may purchase $2 tickets in orders of 40 or more in 575 Patterson Office Tower until Sunday, Oct. 14. Three-dollar general admission tickets are available for all other attendees until 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct.16. Four-dollar day‐of tickets will be available at the event gate.

IFC is accepting private and corporate tax‐deductible donations on behalf of DanceBlue. All ticket sales and contributions will support the Golden Matrix Fund to benefit UK’s Pediatric Oncology Clinic and cancer research.
