Recycle is Theme for Pinterest Party

<--break->

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 1, 2014) — New materials, old materials, all being used to create new crafts seen by many on Pinterest. The Student Activities Board Campus Life Committee presents a recycling themed Pinterest Party to continue the Pinterest Party series. The Pinterest Party will take place tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. in 308B Commons (while supplies last).

This event will take crafts seen on Pinterest and allow students to bring them to life. Students will be able to bring their own shorts and add some lace to give some variety to their outfits for the summer. There will also be Easter egg garland decorating, and students will be able to make beaded pin bracelets.

“This is a great way for students to show their creative side and relieve some stress in the process,” said Connor Giesselman, SAB director of campus life. “These crafts will allow students to make new creations through materials you wouldn’t expect.”

The third and final Pinterest Party of the semester will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. May 16 in the Rasdall Gallery
