Run Blue!

of

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 25, 2013) — “Come one, come all, to the greatest DanceBlue 5K of them all!” It’s finally that time of year again; this Sunday, Oct. 27, the DanceBlue team, along with around 800 plus other racers will participate in the DanceBlue 5K race. This year’s race goes hand-in-hand with the University of Kentucky’s circus Homecoming theme, “Under the Big Blue Top.”

Although priority registration has already passed, there are still plenty of opportunities to sign up to run. Registration will continue online at and will be offered onsite, with a racing fee of $20 per racer. Only cash or check will be accepted this Sunday, and a T-shirt is not guaranteed. For those who have already registered online, early packet pick-up will be from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at the Center for Community Outreach and from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. at the King Alumni House, on the corner of Rose Street and Euclid Avenue.

Be sure to get into the spirit of the race with a circus themed costume; spirit points and prizes will be awarded.
