SAB Applications Now Available

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 8, 2011) - From the organization that brought you events such as Campus Ruckus, Finals Crunch Brunch, comedians Kathy Griffin and Zach Galifinakis and musical talents such as Drake, B.O.B and Jason Derulo, comes applications to be part of the Student Activities Board yourself! Positions needed include committee chairs, the assistant director of graphic design and SAB in the Halls representatives. Applications are due by 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, online at www.uksab.org/GetInvolved or delivered to the SAB office, 204 Student Center.

SAB is the largest student-run programming organization on campus that brings more than 100 events to campus every year. The board plans events for students, faculty, staff and the greater community at large by researching, proposing and executing events while managing a team of volunteers and a budget. The Student Activities Board brings more than 100 entertaining, educational and enriching programs that are reflective of contemporary issues and trends to the University of Kentucky annually.  These programs are designed to enhance the college experience for students, faculty, staff and the greater Lexington community.
