SAB Holds its Final Pinterest Party of the Semester
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 18, 2014) — Pin it to your calendar! The Student Activities Baord Campus Life Committee will host its monthly Pinterest Party from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, in the Center for Student Involvement Smart Classroom. Food and Starbucks coffee will be provided as refreshments partygoers.
Campus Life’s Pinterest Parties aspire to give members of the campus a fun night of crafting and socializing motivated by the “do it yourself” crafts on Pinterest, a popular social media site.
Students who come to the party will not only be marveling at the different crafts online, but will try to emulate them as a group. Each month, Campus Life organizes a new theme for the crafts, with this month being a Thanksgiving and winter craft theme to go along with the upcoming holidays.
“I can't wait to wrap up the fall semester Pinterest Parties! Celebrating the upcoming winter months and Thanksgiving season," Abbey Tillman, SAB director of campus life, said. “Be sure to join the Campus Life Committee, we can’t wait!”
SAB brings more than 100 entertaining educational and enriching programs that are reflective of contemporary issues and trends to the University of Kentucky annually. These programs are designed to enhance the college experience for students, faculty, staff and the greater Lexington community.
