Stressed Out? Let Massage on the Go Help!

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 2, 2014) — The Student Activities Board's Campus Life Committee massages the worries away through the Massage on the Go event from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, in The Hub, which is in the basement of the William T. Young Library. Students can stop by for a relaxing study break before the beginning of dead week.

“The event gives the students the opportunity to relax while they’re studying,” Abbey Tillman, SAB director of campus life, said. “I am excited for students to join SAB for the last Massage on the Go for the fall semester, and then they can join us for Crunch Brunch on Dec. 8, where we will have more massage therapists.”

Massage on the Go was created to spread serenity among the student body during stressful times of the year. The free experience allows for students to sign up for a five-minute massage from certified therapists in the Lexington area. After cramming for exams in the library, a short walk downstairs will relieve any stress.

SAB brings more than 100 entertaining educational and enriching programs that are reflective of contemporary issues and trends to the University of Kentucky annually. These programs are designed to enhance the college experience for students, faculty, staff and the greater Lexington community.
