Students Can Access Computer Lab Software Remotely

LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 3, 2012) — University of Kentucky students no longer have to walk to a computer lab to use general computer lab Windows-based software as they can now access the software from their personal devices (computers, laptops, tablets, smart phones) using myVirtualDEN@UK

This feature offers "anywhere, any time" access to software such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and other general software.

MyVirtualDEN@UK is a cloud-based system that provides virtual desktop images for students to use the software on their own electronic devices. There are several application packages that are also available for access such as SAS Statistical software.
