Trick or Treat at Commonwealth Stadium

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 29, 2015)  Fans and families will celebrate Halloween at the New Commonwealth Stadium before the Tennessee game this Saturday, Oct. 31. 

Young Wildcat fans and their families are invited to head over in their costumes to Wildcat Park, across from Gate 9 at Commonwealth Stadium, where a variety of activities are set to take place. Families will be able to enjoy face painting, temporary tattoos, arts and crafts, visits by mascots Wildcat and Scratch and trick-or-treating. The Halloween festivities are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. and conclude just prior to kickoff at 7 p.m.

Local Lexington businesses and organizations, like students from the University of Kentucky’s own DanceBlue, will pitch in, providing candy and decorations for Saturday's events. Others include the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Kroger, Wrigley, Paul Miller Ford, Safelite AutoGlass, Kennedy’s Wildcat Den, American Campus Communities, UK HealthCare, Appalachian Regional HealthCare, Greyhound Lines and UPS.
