UK ALERT: All Clear after Gas Leak

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 19, 2013) — The gas line leak has been capped off and the scene is now safe. The Cooperstown building is now open. You may now resume normal activity.

From earlier this afternoon:

This afternoon construction workers near the Cooperstown Housing complex struck a low-press gas service line, damaging it. 

Gas to the area was shut off. Safety and utility officials were on the scene. There are no known injuries.
