UK Conference to Explore Important Issues in Education Law

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 1, 2015) — Exploring important legal issues in the realm of education, the University of Kentucky Office of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) will host a one-day education law conference Friday, Sept. 18, at the UK College of Law, located at 620 S. Limestone in Lexington.  

The conference will begin with a state and federal legislative and regulatory hot topic review, led by Kevin C. Brown, associate commissioner and general counsel at the Kentucky Department of Education, and Amy Peabody, assistant general counsel at the department.

The conference is approved by the Kentucky Bar Association Continuing Legal Education Commission for seven hours of credit, as well as in “60 minute” states, including Indiana and Tennessee. Conference tuition including hard copies of course materials is $260 with pre-registration and $320 at the door; tuition including a downloadable PDF of course materials is $245 with pre-registration and $320 at the door.
