UK HealthCare Stroke Program Hosts Stroke Fair Friday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 23, 2013) — The UK HealthCare Stroke Program will host its fifth annual Stroke Fair from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Friday, May 24, in the UK Chandler Hospital's Pavilion H North Lobby and Courtyard.

The event offers UK hospital employees and the public an opportunity to learn stroke warning signs, symptoms and risk factors. Information on lifestyle changes that help eliminate the risk of stroke will also be available.

Participants can visit interactive educational booths, get a free stroke screening and participate in games to win prizes.

Complimentary stroke screenings will be available for all participants.
