UK Higher Education Professor Featured in Inside Higher Ed
LEXINGTON, Ky (Jan. 18, 2013) — John Thelin, professor of higher education and public policy in the University of Kentucky College of Education, has an essay currently featured in Inside Higher Ed. The essay, "Parsing the Case Against College," is gaining national attention as it addresses complex issues that surround the ongoing debate about the value of a college education.
"Whether in 1880 or 2012, the historical message is that there are good reasons to go — or not to go — to college," he says in the essay. "And, given the diversity of American higher education, the choices are complicated."
