UK Launches Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Outreach Clinic in Owenton

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 2, 2011) — The University of Kentucky Department of Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine announced the launch of a new outreach clinic in Owenton.

The clinic, run by Dr. Mary Lloyd Ireland, will occur on the first Tuesday of each month. Ireland is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine.

The clinic is located at New Horizons at 120 Progress Way in Owenton. Appointments are made by physician referral only. Physicians can call (859) 218-3131 to refer a patient.
