UK Med Center AudioVisual Library Moves

 

LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 9, 2011) − The University of Kentucky Medical Center AudioVisual (AV) Library has moved to the UK Medical Center Library on the first floor of the William R. Willard Medical Education Building between the UK College of Dentistry and UK College of Medicine. The AV collections will be available to users at the new location beginning 7:30 a.m. Monday, May 9.

The Medical Center AV Library's AV collection consists of approximately 1,500 titles, primarily in DVD, VHS and CD-ROM formats. Access to the collection holdings is provided via InfoKat, the UK Libraries' online catalog.

The mission of the Medical Center Library is to provide users with the information and information seeking skills essential for health care education, research and evidence-based patient care, and to promote health information literacy. Users include students, clinical faculty, research faculty, health care professionals, hospital staff, patients and families both inside UK and throughout the commonwealth.
