UKMobile App Adds Course Registration

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 30, 2011) —  Students at the University of Kentucky will be able to add or drop courses from their mobile devices with the new course registration feature on the UKMobile app, to be launched today by UK Information Technology and the Office of the Registrar

All registration rules which are enforced through the myUK portal registration will apply within the new mobile application.

The application is accessed via the myUK icon on the UKMobile app. The myUK icon will launch the browser on the user’s phone and present the following options:

  • Catalog (Course Catalog to search for courses for adding/registering)
  • My Classes (Allows viewing of grades and class schedule)
  • Register (Add/Drop courses based on available registration windows)

The myUK mobile apps on UKMobile are supported on Android, Blackberry (6.0 and higher) and iOS mobile devices with WebKit-based browsers.
