LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 19, 2009) − The University of Kentucky's S•KY BLUE House that finished ninth at the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon competition was featured on today's episode of NBC's "Today Show." The news program highlighted houses from four of the 20 competitors, selected from across North America and Europe, that competed Oct. 9-18, on the National Mall, in Washington, D.C .
The "Live Smart Today" segment, "High-tech homes of the future on display," featured houses and students from UK, as well as Team Germany, Team Boston and Rice University.
