WUKY to Broadcast the Newport Folk Festival Live

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 13, 2011) — WUKY, the University of Kentucky’s public radio station, will broadcast the Newport Folk Festival live from Newport, R.I., Saturday July 30 and Sunday July 31.

Several of the biggest names in folk, Americana and indie rock will converge on Newport for the 52nd annual Newport Folk Festival. Broadcasting will run from around noon to 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time each day on WUKY (91.3FM) or you can stream the festival online at www.wuky.org.
