WUKY Hosts 'Voice of Pride' Karaoke Contest

LEXINGTON, Ky., (June 6, 2016) — WUKY will host a Karaoke Contest during the 2016 edition of the Lexington Pride Festival later this month.

Participants will perform one song in front of a panel of judges at preliminary auditions located around downtown Lexington. The finalists from the preliminaries will perform on the main stage at the Pride Festival from 4:45-5 p.m. Saturday, June 25.

A list of the dates, Lexington sites and times for the preliminary auditions are:

· June 6 – The Bar, 224 E. Main St., sign-ups 8-9 p.m., contest 9-10 p.m.

 

· June 7 – Crossings Lexington, 117 N. Limestone, sign-ups 8-9 p.m., contest 9-10 p.m.

 

· June 15 – Third Street Stuff Coffee House, 257 N. Limestone, sign-ups 7-8 p.m., contest 8-9 p.m.

· June 21 – Crossings Lexington, sign-ups 8-9 p.m., contest 9-10 p.m.
