WUKY's 'UK Perspectives' Examines How Athletes Balance Academics and Athletics

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 6, 2014) — WUKY's "UK Perspectives" focuses on the people and programs of the University of Kentucky and is hosted by WUKY General Manager Tom Godell.  Filling in for Godell this week is WUKY News Director Alan Lytle. He and guest Bria Goss, communications major and junior guard with the UK Women's Basketball Team, talk about how athletes balance athletics with academics. All UK athletes posted a 3.218 cumulative grade point average for the recently concluded spring semester — the best showing since 2003.
