Executive Education Center Is 'Tailor Made'
LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 13, 2010) - So, you are a working businessperson who knows that you or members of your staff really need specific training to make things run more efficiently and profitably. Or, you know of job opportunities for someone with your background, but in order to be considered, you need to attain professional certification. Where do you turn?
It could be that the Executive Education Center at the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics has just the program you are searching for.
Formerly known as the International Business and Management Center, the Executive Education Center (EEC) provides quality instruction and meaningful solutions for individuals and businesses across a wide variety of program areas. These include leadership, employee development, organizational design, strategy, process improvement, human resource management, and public school finance officer training to name just a few.
"We draw our instructors from the finest in the Gatton College faculty, as well as the brightest minds in the business community," said Ralph Weickel, promotional director and consultant for the EEC. "A real plus that we are able to offer in our programs is the combination of academic credibility combined with real world application."
Several of the center's programs offer continuing education credits (CEU's) and/or professional certification.
"Another advantage we have is flexibility, " said Weickel. "Our programs are not designed to be 'one size fits all.' If your company or organization has a specific training or executive education need, I urge you to contact us. We are more than happy to tailor a program to fit your specific needs."
The center's facilities, which offer downlink capabilities and are housed in the Gatton College building on the UK campus, can accommodate up to 75 participants in a single session, as well as smaller breakout groups. For larger groups, the EEC partners with area hotels and conferencing centers.
