Family Weekend 2018 Parking Options
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 27, 2018) — This weekend is Family Weekend at UK, a fantastic opportunity for families to return to campus, visit their students and experience everything the University of Kentucky has to offer. To help accommodate visiting families who are seeking to park on campus, UK Transportation Services is taking the following steps:
- All E-lots, including 24/7 controlled E-lots, will be taken off permit control starting at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, through Sunday, Sept. 30.
- UK Transportation Services will recognize all university and state-issued ADA disabled tags in any regularly marked ADA space all day Friday through Sunday.
- The South Limestone Parking Structure (PS 5) will be open for free parking all weekend, starting at 2 p.m. Friday, through 5 a.m. Monday.
- The Rose Street Parking Structure (PS 2) will be open for free parking beginning at 3 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday.
- The Gatton Student Center Visitor Lot will be open for free parking starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday.
Regular parking permit control will resume at 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1.
